is this system good enough for microsoft office, internet surfing, and listening to music? im not a gamer and all i do is office stuff. thanks

It'll do fine for normal office work, word processing, spreadsheets and the like. Music isn't very demanding and it will take the Internet in its stride.
I know someone who is running a financial business on a couple of computers with similar specs with no problems at all.
If you wanted to improve matters a little, another 256 Mbs of memory wouldn't go amiss.
