very slow boot on xp

hi all i have noticed over last few days or so that my machine is taking ages to boot bios screen approx 25 sec's and xp home screen about 1min 30secs ish...!!!

its a fresh install of xp

fully formatted hdd's

p4 3ghz prescott core s-478
asrock main board p4vm890 its an oldish boad i know
2gb memory 400mhz

160gb ide 1
80gb ide 2
and a sata 1tb on raid connector 1.5gb/s

any help please
