Hello, I've a 2 year old Dell laptop. On Thursday night I was watching a movie torrent file and gradually throughout the film the sound became more and more delayed. I fixed this by restarting the movie and skipping to my last watched point. However, since then, playing any audio, be it through media player, iTunes or on a site like YouTube, results in a really degraded sound. No amount of restarting software or the computer seems to help. What can I do?

You probably downloaded more than just the movie from the torrent site.

Run your AntiVirus and malware cleaners.
