When I turn the computer on everything boots up normal hdd/cdrom/a:drive But The monitor goes blank. And there is actually no boot screen that comes up. When you turn on the comp the monitor actually never gets a signal. I've tried 3 different vid cards and still nothing. i've tried it in 2 different cases and nothing. Power supply is 300w atx. Is it possible that the processor is shot or is it the mobo? Please HELP!!!
GIGABYTE 7VRX VIA-KT333 DDR W/S
128mb ddr/40gig hd/ geforce 2 400/mx
PLEASE HELP

I have a computer with the same problem. I didn't try other videocards because I didnt have any other, but this is what solved my problem, maybe it can help you:

If the pc doesn't want to boot, open the case and clear the CMOS-memory (you have to change a jumper on the mobo for that an leave it changed for about 30 sec, then put the jumper back in it's original place, otherwise your cd-rom etc will not work either. look in the manual to find the right jumper). Then boot the system.
I hope it works for you. I never figured out what the problem really was, but as that computer of mine is running 24/7 now, I don't have to do that anymore...

Yea i hope it does too. I'm at work so i've gotta try a couple of things with it when I get home. But thanks for the info i hope it really does fix it. I've put l0 or 11 comps together and i've never had this problem before. But thanks again for your help
