Hi everyboy,
I've just bought this laptop with Win7 preinstalled on and everything just seemed perfectly working (even recognizing special features of intel's chips such as being able to activate Turbo Boost Tech.). I just formatted the hard disk and installed my favorite linux dist., Debian-lenny-5. The problem is that it's now unable to recognize basic hardware like NIC, audio system, webcam, and some others as well. I tried to find and download appropriate linux drivers for them but no success so far. Could anyone help me with these issues by providing internet links for drivers or any comments? Thanks a lot in advance.

Hey there,
After getting absolutely embarrassing replies from Sony Co. telling me that they've done nothing regarding Linux drivers and utilities for their laptops and yet have no plans to do so, I just compiled the last stable Linux Kernel (2.6.34) on my laptop along side with new modules set, except for the video card, I've now almost all hardware pieces recognized and working fine. Good luck.
