Does anyone know if there is a way to control a desktop PC using a laptops keyboard, mouse, and display? Without modifying the laptop of course. Basically what I want to do is work on desktops on my dining room table using my laptop to control it, so I don't have to lug a big CRT, keyboard, and mouse around. Any Word? Thanks!!

If you have networking in both machines you don't even have to move anything. You need a remote desktop application like VNC.

Well that would work, except for the fact that I would be formatting the desktops hdd's and doing new installations of XP. So that way would only work once the OS is installed and functioning with a network. Maybe I can just find a cheap 15" lcd somewhere. It's not so much the keyboard and mouse, it's the monitor. Thanks for the reply though!! :)
