Hi.

A few months ago, I purchased Dazzle Hollywood DV-Bridge to digitalize some home videos (both VHS and Camcorder films). I have been using MGI VideoWave 4 for the capture/editing videos. However, I would like to use another program with a bit more opitions. Does anyone know of any other video editing programs that would work with the Dazzle?

Thanks.

I use Dazzle to load my analog clips on to the computer, I used to use MGI videowave for editing. I too didn't think it had enough options. I got Pinnacle Studio 8. Its like $100 and its got a lot more options. You can go to the website:

www.pinnaclesys.com

I'm pretty sure thats it anyway.

To be honest though I was having problems with it though. But I also ran Windows ME and had a 1.3 Ghz computer. If you run it on Windows XP with a better processor I'm sure you'll have luck. Get it from Circuit City NOT Best Buy. Circuit City has an AWESOME return poicy. They let you return just about anything, even software! as long as its within a 14 day period.

The next step in software as far as I'm aware gets pretty pricey though ($600). A step above Pinnacle is a large one and you get very professional and advanced features. I'm thinking of Adobe Premiere 6.5. It gets pretty complicated though, you may want to get a book to go along with that. And then on top of that is Avid. For that we're talking thousands and thousands.

Good luck!

Thanks for the reply.

When you said you were having problems, what kind did you mean? Were they dealing with the quality of the captured video or getting the hardware to work with the software?

Thanks.
