Comment: I'm getting ready to upgrade my computer and I'm wondering if anyone knows if it's possible to use one ATI PCI-X video card on a motherboard that has NVIDIA SLI? I got a free ATI video card a few months back, but would like to use NVIDIA SLI in the future. The video card I got doesn't support CrossFire and I'm hoping I can just use it until I get some money for a better NNIDIA video card. Anyone have any ideas? Thanks!

Reply: (edit)Shouldn't be a problem. It should literally be plug and play (once you install the drivers) "Two roads diverged ina wood, and I -- I took the one less travelled by, and that has made all the difference." R. Frost

Reply: (edit)Hopefully it's a PCI-E card, not PCI-X. PCI-X is something totally different.

Reply: (edit)My son-in-law put an ATI Radeon X1600 PRO 512MB display adapter on his ASUS M2N-SLI Deluxe MOBO and things work very well.

Reply: (edit)Anyone ever used an EVGA SLI motherboard? I hear they're pretty good. I was just curious if anyone here had one or had any experience with them.
