Are there any known problems running 4 x 512 (filling all 4 memory slots with a total of 2 GB) of non ECC memory in motherboards with the Intel 865PE chipset? The motherboards like the ASUS P4P800, ECS 865 PE-A7, MSI 865PE Neo3, etc.?

As long as the motherboard can handle 2 GB it shouldn't have problems. Of course you need to fill all 4 slots with almost the same chips. Not all memory is compatible with each other.

I have this very motherboard and have had no problems running 4 sticks of PC4000 Kingmax Hardcore RAM for a while now. Mind, the memory is in the mobo manual as beign certified and tested which is nice.
