Have a motherboard that only supports USB 1.1 ! The case has two front mounted USB ports. I will need a USB 2.0 PCI card with 2 internal connectors (which I've found) My question is this: My front mounted USB ports have only individual wires intended to be plugged onto the MOBO. Are there any plugs I can get that will allow me to plug in these wires, or is it possible to use the male ends off a couple USB cables and splice them onto the individual wires?

If you know how to solder (or know someone that does), you can remove the plug and solder wires to the board. I'm not aware of an adapter, but I've necer looked for one either. Good luck

The case ports need to be USB complient, otherwise the USB2 from the card will be USB1 speed at the front ports, as to all intents and purposes they are like a hub.
