Since I installed a vivicam 5355 pc camera driver, every time i insert my memory stick, my pc shows a blue screen saying something about bios updating, and restarts. please help need 2 use memory stick!!!

can we assume the memory stick worked with the PC before the camera driver? does it matter which USB port you attach the memory stick to? Do you have another memory stick to try in this computer? Can you try this memory stick in a different computer? The answers to these questions will help determine if the problem is specific to the stick, the port, or the OS. I'd try to get the camera drivers back off the machine. if they show up in Add/Remove Programs, great. There might also be an "Uninstall" option if it created an entry in the Start Menu or something. Otherwise, you might be able to re-run the installer to access a Modify/Repair/Remove screen. have you tried System Restore? Although typically useless, i have not heard of problems CREATED by using this feature, so it might be worth a try... after every change, try the USB stick again and see if the symptoms persist. if you change 4 things between tests and then it works, you don't know what the fix was...
