This sounds like homework but I will answer anyway. USB 2.0 has a theoretical transfer rate of 480Mbits/sec which = 60MBytes/sec. In actual tests you will get far less than that. I just ran a test. 144MB file to a USB 2.0 flash drive. Transfer took 1 minute and 15 seconds. That equates to about 9 minutes for 1GB of data.

That comes out to about 14MB/sec.
