Comment: I've been looking at routers with embedded print servers, and all the ones I've seen have parallel ports. What would be the easiest way to hookup a USB-only printer to that port? I can only find cables/adapters that go the "the other way"!! Just curious, thanks

Reply: (edit)I am not sure what your question is??? But you can buy usb routers, wireless routers, and usb printers, or just about anything you need today. Go to Google and search for "usb routers" and see what comes up. If this was the question...~smile~

Reply: (edit)Let me rephrase my question: Suppose you have a print server with a parallel port. Suppose you have a printer with a USB port. How do you connect the printer to it? I've only seen cables that let you connect a parallel printer to a USB port, not the other way around (usb device to parallel port) as described.

Reply: (edit)I took about 15 minutes and could not find the type of cable/adapter you are looking for. I was able to find USB print servers, which would allow you to connect the USB printer to a RJ-45 jack on your hub/router. These start at about $52.00.
