Hello guys, this is my problem.

I have just installed a new motherboard (a Gigabyte 7VT600P-RZ) and I have windows XP PRO, but my USB does not seem to be working as it should, the USB function is fine but it doesn't power the hardware when it should, ie/ I have a cordless mouse and my last motherboard would charge it fine through usb but this one doesn't, there is power getting to the mouse because the charge light comes on but it does not charge.

I thought that it may be my mouse so I took it to owrk and tried it but it works fine, just not on my ne motherboard.

Any ideas anyone?

Thanks

Matt

XP w/SP1 or SP2? Did you install the VIA drivers? Chipset? RAID? IDE? USB?

sorry, I forgot to say, I have SP2. And yes I did install the VIA drivers, but made no difference.

Thanks for your help though
