usb ports...DEAD!

Maybe some can help? All 4 usb ports won't work. System reports error code 10. They work until comp. has completely booted up then won't. Device manager says generic hub has prob. saying tranfer requests failed so hub was disabled. Already tried putting entire system back to factory state. Did not work. Tried updating drivers too...nothing. I appreciate any help. THANKS!!!

you will have to go into the bios settings and see if the usb is disabled, if it is just enable it. or you can go buy a usb pci card, they're pretty cheep nowdays

Thanks, I have checked the BIOS setting too. They are enabled but do not work.
