I have a pretty old computer and my USB ports aren't working. I can charge my Ipod on it and everything, but it's not finding my webcam. I don't know anything about computers. Can some one help?

Have you tried to search for the drivers for your webcam online?
You can google you webcams model by typing "<webcam model> drivers" and you will usually find the drivers. I would look for it in the manufacturers website first, but sometimes I just google the drivers.
If that does not work then maybe you need to enable the USB in BIOS. That can be done by pressing F1 in the beginning of the computer's boot up sequence. This will take you to the POST menu where you can poke around until you find something that says Hardware, and look for USB and try to enable your USB hardware.
Your problem may be completely different, so if you need help with the instructions I have given or if what I suggested is not enough you can contact me at monserratewmeb@yahoo.com

If the iPod works and the web-cam doesn't it is almost certainly a driver problem. Each web-cam needs its own particular driver.
