Specs: Windows Vista
I do hope you can help, I have a new (ish) Packard Bell Imedia with 8 ports, and running Vista. All ports worked fine and have suddenly stopped they are not recognised in the Device Manager when I plug them in and then suddenly they work again for the printers but not for any other devices such as the Archos or USB stick.
I have restored drivers, uninstalled and reinstalled the usb controllers, I have disbaled usb legacy and am now stuck! Please help me as it is really irritating. Thanks in advance

See how much current they are using. See event viewer logs. Might try linux live cd.

"Best Practices", Event viewer, host file, perfmon, antivirus, anti-spyware, Live CD's, backups, are in my top 10
