Specs: Windows 7, 4 GB
I have a Dell Inspiron N7110, Windows 7 Ultimate, 64 bit, laptop. I have downloaded XP mode & Virtual Machine to access some 32 bit programs that wouldn't convert. The XP mode will not recognize the USB Port on @W7. It does recognize an old A drive for a 3.5 floppy disc., My C drive and the DVD drive. Can I download an updated XP mode that will regonize the USB Port?

✔ Best Answer
When you open up XP mode, does anything show up on the USB tab at the top of the page. If it does, you have to enable it.

Funny thing is a microsoft tech points people to that link.

1/3 of highway deaths are caused by drunks. The rest are by people who can't drive any better than a drunk.
