Hi, hope some one can give me some info. I'm trying to get broadband with a service provider that seems to only supply USB port modems (as it is cheap). I already have an ethernet wireless router and would love to avoid purchasing another one.
So is there any way around buying a new router? Any info would be greatly appreciated.

call them, and tell them you do not have an available usb port and, have to use eternet. look for another provider who will give you what you need and mention that during the call.

thanks for your reply. i live in ireland and it looks like i cant get an ethernet modem without getting either cable or a landline in a bundle. i'm also trying to avoid doing that. i can only get the USB modem on its own. is there some reason for this or can i ask the service provider for an ethernet modem without without anything else?
