CPU/Ram: 2700 xp athlon/512mb
Comment:

1. Help my motherboard reports a resource problem ( code 42 ).
2. My monitors usb hub doesant work ( lg flatron f700p ) and is reported as being unknown...

Did you install the drivers before hooking up the monitor? You need the USB drivers as well.

yes i did, and where do i get the usb drivers from? I downloaded usb drivers from the website but they do not work and contain no .inf files just .dll?? Shall i uninstall my monitor drivers ? do i plug the usb lead in when windows has finished loading or when the pc is off? Windows says the device is unknown but it isnt listed on the hcl site.

Your USB drivers would be on the disk for your Motherboard. You always plu in the monitor before turning on the PC.
