Hi.
I use a celeron 1000 128mb ram using win98 SE. Recently I bought a USB modem for my ADSL connection and it worked propertly, but then I bought a USB webcam and when I run them together the modem hung up and I can't reconnect.

What can be the problem and how can I solve it?

Thanks,
Matt.

usb modems struggle for power via chipsets mostly

to fix this

either

unplug your webcam

try to give your motherboard more power plug case fans into ide leads or unplug anything which may be draining power

buy a powered hub or a seperate usb card

try the forums at this site for more info
