Hello!

I have this USB headset with mic ( http://tinyurl.com/j5xf ) and the mic volume level is critically low. If i yell to the mic i can hear myself pretty good, but when i speak to the mic normally i can barely understand the words myself and this becomes a problem when you are eg. trying to play an online game.
So the main problem is that even if the window adjustments are at max, the mic volume level is too low and no one can hear me in games. And as the mic is USB and plug&play, it doesn't have an option for +20db hardware gain and has no install cd, which would have some adjustment programs.

So... I would need some kind of mic boost for USB, but is there anything like that out there? Or would someone have some tips how to get more sensitivy into this thing?
Im becoming desperate, so any kind of help would be greatly apprechiated!

PS. I do have 2 working microphones, but as i payed a lot for this headset with mic i would really want to use it (im a poor student). And i even sent a mail to logitech support about this, but they just copy pasted some s---, and didn't even try to help =/

Thx =)
(My english is bad, but i hope someone understood)

Just in case! Did you check the 'Record' volume controls. Lots of people overlook them because you have to go to Options/Properties to see them..

Sorry for slow answer, but i was away for a while. And i tried to set the mic from the sound recorder, but it did nothing =/. And yes, i've set the volume level from the record control and not the other side.
