Hi: the usb doesn´t appear among the others unitis like the C: or A: or E: it is installed; win982ed have installed a rutin, the icon it does appear in among the others item in System manager, etc,wehn I plug a penmemory it does ligth but it does´n appear among the other unitys in "my computer"; what can it be? Thank.

Just a guess here, but a newer technology to an older system and OS? I know when I bought my parents a cordless mouse and keyboard, the keyboard would not work. Eventually I built them a new system with XP OS and it worked.
