We purchased an A-power USB Mass Storage Device. Plugged it in and the computer is not recognizing it. The instructions said that the system would display "find a USB Disk" and then install the driver from the system files automatically, it did not. The exterior unit is not showing up as a drive in the control panel. What is wrong. What do we have to do.

Try looking for the drive in Disk Managment. The drive may need to be partitioned and/ or formatted or a drive letter assigned.
