I am using an Iomega external CD RW drive interfaced to a USB 2.0. card. Not sure what happened but am unable to use the drive now. Ub rhe device manager for the USB Mass Storage Device it shows a yellow ! bit tho I have removed and let Windows reinstall it, still no change. What do I need to do to fix this? Thanks.

This may sound a bit crazy but it worked for me. If there are any, uninstall all of your 'RealPlayer' componants then re-install the latest version.

I accidently deleted part of this programe about a month ago and even our IT department couldn't get rid of the yellow '!'. I read somewhere on here about this little trick and it sorted it for me.

Good luck.

Gary, its working now. I am not sure but it may have been due to having a disk in the CD drive. What I did last night was to take the disk out and unplug the drive then plug the power back in.

The bad thing about USB is the connector, it pulls out easily. This could have contributed to it. Whonose.

Now I have a new problem and am ready to chuck it for a new computer. ;(
