Looking for a USB Flash Drive with a metal case that reads and writes fast and has the largest capacity available like 32gb or more?
Found that IronKey, StealthSurfer and Corsair Survivor seem to have a lot of issues with either function, reading, writing etc. and of course they are over priced.

I haven't kept up with that technology so I can't advise you on what to purchase.

I do have a question for you, if you don't mind. What is it you intend to use such a large drive for?

Along with Othehill curious question, does your planned use for it fall within the top five uses for a USB drive listed HERE? If not, save your money & buy something else.

If your aim is to use it as your spare or storage drive, I am afraid you are mistaken.

I hope it's not for backup.

No not for a backup, already have that, just for transport and utilities and such.

Then why so big? My entire C partition would fit on a 32GB flash drive with plenty of room to spare.

I don't know if you realize it or not but flash memory is the least reliable method of storage available. There is a limit on how many times you can write to them too.

Even something a big as a movie file is only 5 or 6 GB at most.

I use CDR to transport my utilities and other diagnostic programs.

I spend 10 or 15 cents each and make copies of all types of files on them. When you buy a hundred CDR disks for 10 to 15 dollars why bother with flash drives at all.

I have a 1GB flash drive and can't remember the last time I used it.

Because it is the smallest and would perform the functions required of it.
