I have windows XP professional on my computer and the last few days I have a problem with my USB flash drive (SPCC USB flash disk USB Device. I have some very important document stored in it and when I plug it into my computer it does not show the flash drive's contents automatically (as it used to). When I click on the Removable Device E: where the flash drive is, I get the message that the disk is not fomratted, would you like it to format it now? I say no and nothing happens. When I say yes it says that it has to delete all the files in the USB disk but I don't want them to be deleted. What caused this and what can I do to save my documents from being deleted? Thank you and PLZ PLZ!! HELP ME Maryliz

Try another USB port, Try another computer with XP or 2000 pro, Try accessing the thumb drive via a linux distro. "linux distro's even the live ones can access quite a few file systems, even corrupt one's sometimes"
Try searching for USB file recovery or something along those lines.
