USB flash drive issue

Specs: vista , 2.333 GHz / 4gb
i have an image file 4.49GB. my flash drive has 7.06GB left. but when i add the image file to the flash drive. it says not enough space. it is a PS2 game.

i also have another PS2 game image file. it's about 3.9GB. but i can add this image file to my flash drive but not the first one. i still dont know why. any idea?

How is the flash drive formated? If it is FAt32 than thats your answer. There is a 4Gb file size limit with FAT32.

Not enough contigious space?

then i dont think it is FAT format. because i added a 6GB image file before. to be specific, it was Grid PC game image.

this link shows how to format a usb memory stick / drive to ntfs

comments suggest it works on the kingston brand not others so take care.
