Solved Usb flash drive converted into raw file system

Specs: Windows XP
I cannot format my flash drive on a basic format or even in disk management, i cannot also convert it from raw file to fat32. Pls help me.

Are you getting any error while formatting the drive?
Did you try formatting the drive on another system?

If it converted itself into a raw format, then it was likely a damaged fat32 or fat file table that is no longer recognized, and is now seen as a raw file system. Is there a lock on the flash device such as a slider tab, many times mine (one for camera) is locked even when it is not, so I slide the lock a few times and try and it works. Otherwise, these things do not last forever and replacement is in order. What error message do you get when trying to format, that it is locked, in use, cannot format???

Try repairing the partition on the flash drive by using Easeus Partition Recovery. Get it from the link below. Your problem is usually caused by improperly removing the drive. You should always use the "safely remove" icon in the tray by the clock.
