I have an 8gig HP v100w USB drive and it ejects it self mostly when im transferring big flies from or to the drive. It ejects then the autorun appears again like if i was taking it out and puting it back in; It does it on windows xp and even windows 7. What could be the problem? Is there a firmware update that i need? Virus? thanks

It sounds like you have a poor connection.

This flash drive may not get a good connection in the front ports on a desktop case, or if it's plugged into a port in a hub ,
See response 3 in this:
or if the port is physically damaged and the drive's plug is loose in the port, or if you're using a USB extension cord and the cord is damaged or it's plug is loose in a port or the flash drive is loose in the female port on the cord.

It should work fine in any ports directly connected to the mboard, if they are not physically damaged - the ports on the back of a desktop computer in the I/O area where most of the ports are, or the ports built into a laptop case.
