My pen drive wasn't detected when i inserted it into my computer,so i decided to format the computer. After formatting the computer i inserted my pen drive and the same problem occurred - windows detected my pen drive as a CD ROM with the name of the drive changed as "removable disk",and would report "insert disk into drive (E:)" any time i dabble click to open, when i restart my computer the problem get solved but when i remove it and insert it into the computer again the same problem occur again.I tried a number of times changing the letters assigned to my pen drive but it didn't help. When i change the letter assigned to my pen drive after restarting the computer,it will work correctly initially but when i remove it and insert it into the computer again, the same problem .When i try to format it will report " windows could not complete the format " and when i reinsert it again a massage will pup up," your disk is not formatted .Please help me and God will grant you more knowledge more than ever

Does the pen drive work correctly on any other computer?

Try to put a empty new folder on it and rename it autorun.inf. See if that fails.
