usb drive letter not shown

I plug decive in one of USB drives into a computer and the drive does not appear in Windows Explorer as a drive.
1) The device is working fine with other computer
2) In Device Manager, USB controllers are working properly.

Look in Disk Management. You may need to assign a drive letter.

But, how to assign a drive letter when I even can't see usb volume? I don't get it.
I also noticed that the particular usb port usually have a "light" on when it was working , now it doesn't. This also caused 2 other memory cards slots not working.
