USB devices keep installing!

OS: XP Pro
CPU/Ram: 2500+/1gig

Everytime I unplug my computer to dust it out or to add/remove something, the usb devices have to install all over again. It's not that bad, since XP does it all automaticly, but it's anoying. Is there a way to stop this?

You are pluging the devices into different USB ports then they were in before.
