Specs: Windows Vista, Processor: Intel Core 2 Duo CPU P8400 @ 2.26 GHz / 4GB RAM
I just plugged in my USB device into my laptop. IT downloads the drivers and recognizes it in that sense, however, when I go to my computer to place files on it, the USB storage device doesn't show up. If I double click the "safely remove hardware" icon, it even shows up as a Lexar JD Lightning Device and says it's working properly.

I even went into Device Manager and it shows the storage device, but not the name. Unlike the other devices, this one shows up blank in the list, and when i right click, it only gives me a "help" option. I just want to get it working, can someone help me?

All thumb drives are plug and play u don't need a separate driver for it to work well(the driver comes with Vista OS).
Do u have files stored inside the thumb drive?

You know the real meaning of peace only if you have been through the war.
