Here's one for you more technically minded people, i have searched the web and this forum but not come up with an answer, so i ask for help with the following problem. I had a logitech cordless usb mouse which i had owned for a couple years that started to intermitently freeze, i replaced this mouse with a labtech cordless usb mouse and guess what this mouse also freezes after a short period of use a reboot corrects the problem but after a short period the mouse freezes again. I have a standard ps/2 mouse which works fine, here is the bit that is puzzling me if i plug either of the usb mice into the ps/2 slot via a ps/2 adaptor they still freeze after a short period of use. I really do not know which way to go with this, any advise would be very much appreciated. Regards Chris

Since you tried using two different makes of USB devices, I would suspect Windows drivers either for USB or the mice. Are these RF (Radio Frequency) or IR (InfraRed) cordless? If RF, then other things could be interfering such as, wireless networks, cordless and cell phones, baby monitors, having the base station also too close to a CRT monitor or unshielded speakers, etc., etc.
