Will a USB 2.0 to Ethernet Converter allow me to break the 15ft USB barrier? I need to a clean 100ft run and a device like this:
Looks like it may do what I want. I need to put a USB hub about 100ft away from the computer (I would put one connector on either end of 100 feet of CAT 6 cable). Will this work, or will it only work as a USB to LAN connector? If this won't work, is there a way of getting a 100ft USB run (without daisy chaining multiple hubs) perhaps linking multiple repeater cables together?
