Is it behind a usb hub?

Could there be a bios setting (I doubt it but try it as last idea)

See system properties for any ! marks.Might have to show hidden devices.

I read it wrong and answer it wrong too. So get off my case you peanut.

Hi everyone, I have a problem with my USB 2.0 pci card. Whenever I connect a USB 2.0 device I get the message 'This USB device can perform faster if you connect it to a Hi-speed USB 2.0 port'! However, when I check for Hi-speed ports available, it lists that they are all 2.0. The ports are all working properly and have no conflicts and the card does work but only as 1.1 even though a part of my system thinks they are 2.0, why? I am running Windows XP - sp2 so should be 'plug & play' and have checked my BIOS settings and USB 2.0 & Hi-speed is enabled.
