How can I tell whether I have usb 1.1 or 2.0 on my pc? Also I have a compaq A1500 usb printer and it prints rather slowly. I was thinking about adding a usb 2.0 card to my pc, but I want to know how I can find out if this printer will support usb 2.0. I'm thinking that 2.0 will allow jobs to print faster. Am I right about this?

to find out whether you have usb 2.0, it should be listed in the USB listing in your device manager as a USB 2.0 controller. most printers are usb 1.1 i think I have only seen one or 2 usb 2.0 printers, speed depends on how much memory it has and how fast the job processes.
