Hi i need to know whether i have some sort of hardware issue with my screen, When i turned on my laptop today, the colours are faded... ex: blue looks grey, etc. it would be nice to know that i messed up a setting in display properties or something, i tried to change the resolution, but no luck. i sent i screen shot to a friend of mine and he sait it looked normal, so could it be a problem with my screen?

Sounds like it. All laptops have a flimsy LVDS cable that attaches the LCD panel to the motherboard. It's not uncommon for the cable to work loose.

If your display driver is installed and you are running in 32-bit color, have that cable checked.
