You can't put a video card in a laptop, so you're outa luck there. Satndard Ram is 256 megs. Hardly enough for Vista and your xp probably lags too. You should upgrade the RAM and forget Vista. XP is a much more stable OS. Why not upgrade the RAM and wait for Windows 7 to come out shortly. Check the requirments for Vista to see if you can use it on your machine.
