I been trying to decide if I should upgrade my old PC or build new one. as much as I would love to build a nice $800 to $1000 PC, yet it would be nice to save the money.

Right now my PC is Compaq Presario Media Center SR2017CL, I have upgraded the ram to 2x1g and 2x0.5g 3g in total. I think if I could find a video card it would last me another few years. I don't mind it being a little slow, just wish I could play some newer games. so any advice on how to get this PC running better would help. I know getting a video card would help out a lot yet I just cant figure out which one will work in this thing.

here a link to my PC build

thank for you time and any help you give.

Here's a link to the system specs:

Here's the motherboard specs:

It's an older system & hard to justify throwing too much money at it & I kinda doubt you'll still be using it 3 years from now. The power supply isn't listed but my guess is its a 300W? If you don't want to upgrade it & just want to add a video card, stick with a lower end gaming card that doesn't require a lot of power. Here's some choices in order of performance: Radeon HD 6570, HD 6670, HD 7750. And just in case you don't know, GDDR5 is always preferable over GDDR3.
