I have the basic dell dimension that has been sitting in my basement for a couple of years. it still works but i want to upgrade the hardware so i can play my high graphic video games on it. and im kind of a newb when it comes to all this tech lingo. so. help?
Probably no chance at all. No PCIe slot, no AGP slot. Right? Give us the Service Tag Number for better informed help.

A upgrade of that degree would be more expensive than purchasing new. You'd be replacing Motherboard, CPU, RAM, P/S, Video---with no guarantee that it'd all work inside a Dell case. If you're wanting to play "high-end" games, look at a new system that could handle them. "Channeling the spirit of jboy..."
