I have an IBM T42 with a 40GB internal hard drive that is almost full. I got a new larger 80 GB internal hard drive to replace it. I used a device to hook the 80GB drive up as a USB drive. Then I used Norton Save & Restore to create an Image of the internal hard drive. I then replaced the 40GB drive with the new 80GB drive. When I turned the computer back on I got a Read I/O error. Any ideas on what I did wrong? Or what I can try to do differently?
