I have recently been given a Toshiba 320 cds laptop. Any ideas please on possible upgrades, I have taken it apart and except for a RAM increase I can't see many other options, the screen res is really low and graphics poor as well.

That's why it was free. Seriously, laptops are not very upgradable. Any possible CPU upgrade wouldn't gain much speed and would be expensive.
