Play the game at at least 1024x768. 800x600 looks pixilated.

60fps is the standard generally. 60fps looks super smooth, no slideshow whatsoever. you dont need much more than that. Personally, i play UT2003 at about 40-50 fps and it looks great.

A great card for UT2003 is the Gforce4ti4200. Its cheap too, about $140 online.

Remember, not just resolution affects Frame rate, detail and world settings can really hurt it.

What's with all the Bloody Monsters?

1. Ti4200
2. Radeon 9000
3. MX440
4. MX440SE

The Ti4200 will smoke the rest of them. If you can, find one manufactured by Leadtek, Asus, or MSI, they make the best 4200s and cost about $160-$170. The MX cards aren't suitable for gaming at all.

If you can afford it ($190-$200) the ATI Radeon 9500 Pro has the best performance/price ratio. It contends with the Ti4600 which is about $260 right now. The Radeon 8500LE is also a great value.

(I'm in Canada and I converted the prices around here to US dollars... you'll probably be able to find it cheaper in the states.)
