Comment:

I have just recently reinstalled Win Xp pro on a 250Gb HD. Then accidentally made the drive Dynamic, applied all win updates and re installed my 1Tb drive with my back ups on it. This install of windows will not read the 1Tb disk. I can see it in disk managment and it shows as a "dynamic disk unreadable". If i try to convert it back to basic it warns that data will be lost. This is not what I want. Is there any way to read this disk to recover all of my data? Would it matter if I wiped windows and reinstalled it leaving the drive basic instead of dynamic? Would that allow windows to see the 1Tb drive which is also dynamic? Any help appreciated, thank you.
