Hello, can somebody tell me if the amd xp 2200+ tbred is unlocked or locked, and also i have a msi kt4-ultra mobo and i was wondering if it is able to change multiplier settings. thanks alot
if you go to www.amd.com they tell you all about your processor i have just bought an xp 2100 i left my multipler on auto. if its a fairly new motherboard auto should be fine.

I have an MSI KT4 Ulta mobo and a Athlon XP 2100+. The multiplier is locked, but it can be changed in the BIOS. Goto the CPU Frequency section, and then set the multiplier from Auto to what you want. You could also increase the FSB to overclock.
