I'm also really getting fed up with the standard of question posted on the site - on principle I won't even attempt to answer a question that makes no sense in English. I realise that it is obviously not the first language of many posters these days, but in order to get a decent response, the OP needs to supply an understandable question in the first place. Really takes me back to the days of GIGO.

I, also am amazed by some of the questions on here anymore. All you can do is laugh. I can think of many loud sounds that begin with "C", but I would be booted off of I used them.

Hey, these are our future world leaders. Just because they can't put together a coherent written thought is no reason for criticism. Long live the NEA !!

What does 'defent' mean?

Im going to rephrase the question

Long a go I used to work on a windows 95 and 98 (some how had 2 os)
And I started up the system put the password in and it blared some short music
Very loud and I can’t recall its name (the sounds name) it began with c I thought it
Was called clamlode (but that doesn’t look right) (if it helps the computer was IBM)
And now I want to download the sound and put it on my vista (to relive good times)

Much clearer now. 98 has 2 wav files that start with C--chord.wav and chimes.wav. Anything else would have been added by IBM or a third party software.

Did the sound appear to be associated with the password or with windows starting after the password?

So it was probably set as the 'start windows' sound from sounds in control panel. If it's not one of the ones I mentioned above--chord.wav or chimes.wav--then you'll probably need to google possible variations of the spelling and hopefully find it that way. Include the wav extension and put it in quotes, such as "clamload.wav".

You're welcome. But I didn't get any wav hits with 'clamload'.
