this drive started life in a caddy [USB] 250G external drive,after 8 months or so it responding. i opened the caddy to find the board [power adepter] melted,but the drive itself [a bog standard hard drive] was undamaged.ibought a USB adepter,and hooked it up to my pc.it shows in the device manager under Drives but not in drive management or anywhere else.how the hell am i going to reformat this damm drive-anyone
