HI there, I have a problem. I hope you guys could help me out here. My friend's computer hard drive crashed. I just replaced a used one. I install win98 successfully. However, I cannot boot my computer without Win98 Setup Disk. Whenever I reset/turn off the computer. It cannot access my hard drive at startup and gave me a message "Unable to access hard drive." Can you please show me how to overcome this obstacle? Thank you you all...appreciated.

Does your friends computer have the problem: the one with the successful installation of Win98 or does yours? If it's your and you haven't recently installed Windows, then go and get a new HDD and copy your precious data across as it must be ready to fail. If it is your friend's computer that is giving problems: take the used hard drive to the store where you bought it and ask for a replacement.
